My friend Loren Faaborg came by my office today to tell me about a Northern Saw-whet Owl he found yesterday at the Bass Ponds. We immediately went down to relocate the bird and it was in a small cedar tree on the left side of the trail that goes straight south from the lower parking lot about a third of the way along the trail. It was right up against the trunk about 10-15 feet off the ground. Let's hope it is still there tomorrow for the CBC. Bob Williams, Bloomington =20
