This morning while caring for a friends dog I spotted a Red shafted =
Northern Flicker in his grove. It was very easy to see the distinctive =
red underside to his wings. I tried to follow his retreat throught the =
grove but lost him in the trees there. If anyone is in the area the =
farmplace is off to the west of highway 91, near mile marker 47, on 181 =
St. St. First place on the gravel road. Pretty pretty bird!
