Today I observed a Cattle egret in Shakopee about 500 feet west of the dead end on Crossings Blvd (west of Foothill Trail). Crossings Blvd is located just south of the intersection of CR 21 and CR 18 near the Home Depot. The egret was foraging in the flooded wetland around 3:00 p.m. this afternoon.
