Subject: Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Miesville Ravine, Goodhue Cty side

Today at Miesville Ravine, along the Cannon River trail, I had excellent
views of a Yellow-billed Cuckoo. I had heard several Yellow-billed and
Black-billed Cuckoos during the spring season in this side of the ravine,
but this is the first cuckoo I've seen this year. It did not vocalize, but
its tail had large white spots on black, and I saw rufous primaries and a
mostly yellow bill. I couldn't see the orbital eyering color.

Also seen:

Warblers:
Black-and White
Magnolia
Tennessee
Chestnut-sided
American Redstart
Nashville
 2 Empid Sp. Flycatchers
Yellow-throated Vireo

Cooper's Hawk (heard only)
