Gotta share what I've seen some young birds do within the past couple of weeks.
A young robin, standing on a deck railing JUMPING 18 inches to reach some suet. Looks like he's doing "a one, and a two, and a three, JUMP! Then there was the young wren yesterday. Exploring my deck. Then plopping down on the railing (like he's still in the nest) watching all the Big Boys at the other feeders. Back and forth between the Woodpeckers, Chickadees, Nut-hatches, Finches and Catbirds. (It's been busy at my feeders) Geez, he was cute.
