Finally a nice enough morning for some decent birding. On a 2 hr walk from the point to Knowlton creek yielded:

half dozen or so Yellow warblers
single Chestnut-sided warbler
a few Black-and-White warblers
Ovenbird
Gray Catbird
Blue-Headed Vireo
Rose-Breasted Grosbeak
very numerous American Goldfinches
and the most exciting was a Green Heron in the newly dredged backwaters of Knowlton Creek.

All are FOY except the ovenbird and of course the Goldfinches.
