[mou-net] McLeod Mockingbird
N. Mockingbird this morning at Piepenburg Cty. Park north of Hutchinson, hanging out on the picnic tables and electric utility station at the entrance of the camping area. Also seen by Ron Erpelding and Herb Dingman. Bird was still there when I left at 12:45 pm. [mou-net] McLeod Mockingbird still present
The N. Mockingbird previously reported a month ago in Hutchinson (McLeod Cty) is still visiting the same backyard of Bernice and Earl Hall @ 665 Hillcrest Rd. NE. Bernice reports that observers need to be patient, as it appears for only a few minutes periodically throughout the day. She spent the morning today (Nov. 8) in her backyard screen porch between 10 am and 1 pm., and did see it during that period. [mou-net] McLeod Mockingbird
The N. Mockingbird is still being seen daily in Hutchinson, at the address given previously (665 Hillcrest, 320-587-8122). The female Summer Tanager has not been seen since last Monday evening. The Mockingbird is flying around from a crabapple tree to a birdbath fairly regularly between 4:00 - 6:00 pm. for best viewing possibilities. Visitors are still very welcome to the back porch area, and while the bird is absent you can marvel over the wonderful gardens.
