There are at least two and probably a couple more Nelson's Sparrows
foraging in the reeds at the public beach on the northwest side of White
Bear Lake. The birds are staying pretty well concealed in the vegetation
close to the water but occasionally pop out on the shoreline for brief
views. From the parking lot walk east onto the beach and start looking once
you're in the reeds.
