[mou-net] Night Hawks
(Posted by Frank Gosiakvia moumn.org) While driving back from Koochiching County I saw many Night Hawks migrating South through Itasca, Beltrami, Hubbard and Cass County. The Maples in Koochiching are rapidly turning into their Fall colors and the insect eating birds are on the move. A good time to be birding. [mou-net] Night Hawks
Many, many , many Night Hawks are going North on the Mississippi in Little Falls. Warblers are not in high count and all the local birds seem to be here. It still was nice going out on a windless evening and listening to a Barred Owl calling. Schools out next week and I will be on the run again looking for rares.
