If its site related, post it here.. and ask also if it seem like mozilla is just not rendering like you think it should. And then if something you saw in a build that worked in yesterday's nightly and not today's post the build id and your platform/OS and we shall see what to make of it. Maybe file a bug or find one that is reported today, and again post a bug # if possible. :) dman84

True, true. I am new to this moz. thing so I was not sure what to do/say and where. I was wondering if I was the only one experiencing these, and if I should say anything about them or not. Pointless bugs in bugtracker are a real annoyance I would assume. And since I did not see any *really* clear guidelines, I wasn't sure what I should say or not say. Newsgroups seemed like a better place to ask these, see if they were valid and if they were recognized and going to be looked into at a later date. OT, but I have experienced a number of non-reproducible bugs :( One I posted, but the others I have held off on. >its called polish and patch-maker fixable bugs.. not high priority till >0.9.9 or 0.9.10 probably. > >-dman84

Thanks! Guess it's just what yer used to. I looked in the menu and that was the shortcut key listed :) Ctrl-L works just fine, but I think it would be nice if it were ctrl-o (like in IE) so I don't have to learn a different keystroke. Maybe that's heresey, but why not use what most ppl are used to? And considering ctrl-o opens a file, which is a bit odd.

Ctrl+shift+L opens the advanced panel, if you only want to type a web address, you should type Ctrl+L. Pascal

its called polish and patch-maker fixable bugs.. not high priority till 0.9.9 or 0.9.10 probably. -dman84 Andrew Backer wrote: > > 1. Simple things (visual, usability bugs) ?
list of locations that match (As it should). The problem is that this list will expand horizontally to take up the entire screen width based on the length of the url. This is very unsightly and annoying, what with the popping back and forth of the width, etc. 2. In the list boxes inside preferences (those with 2 colums), the grid seperating the data cells does not match up with the header cells. The column divider is offset to the left by a few pixels. *3. WHY! Why Ctrl-Sift-L to open a web location, and ctrl-o to open a normal file? I can't think of one time *ever* that I have wanted to open a file from inside mozilla/ie/opera/etc... but about 20 times a browsing session i would like to ctrl-o->www.nothing.com ! Are these worth reporting as bugs? Do they happen to anyone else? I am on Win2k. Thanks, Andrew BAcker
