Uh, it has a patch.  Why it hasn't been applied (it's limited to the front 
page template) is anyone's guess.

Why no document type declaration in mozilla.org?

I noticed that the website mozilla.org does not have a document type 
declaration. I thought this where a html or standart requirement.
If someone (the webmaster) knows, let me know, just for curiosity.

This bug really needs to get fixed. An organisation that creates a
browser that claims the most standards compliance should have a home
page that can be validated on w3.org. Whats the point of directly
people who say "This website doesn't display right in Mozilla" to
validator.w3.org when mozilla.org's own home page does not validate.
