[MP3 ENCODER] MSVC error
Hi all finally saved up and bought a copy of Visual C++, and tried my hand at compiling the source code - 3.83 beta. Ran into numerous errors, managed to get around them, but this one has me going insane. When linking, the following error message jumps onscreen: * Linking... LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file "glib-1.2.lib" Error executing link.exe. lame.exe - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s) * Will someone kindly help me out on how to compile Lame with MSVC or whatever, on Win9x? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as my sanity's about to say goodbye... Argh! I'm supposed to be working on a 2500-word essay, due in 31 minutes Cheers Jason Antony 27° 30.874' S, 153° 02.814' E Get your co-ords with GPS ICQ#: 48374695 -- MP3 ENCODER mailing list ( http://geek.rcc.se/mp3encoder/ )
Re: [MP3 ENCODER] Portable MP3 Players
Hi, do you want to have potrable CD MP3 player? Go there! http://www.ntelec.com.hk/ 3xAA battery http://www.expressoa.com.hk/html/Multimedia.htm 2xAA battery, 8Mb memory for voice or music recording. Is my faforit. All these are original manufacturers from Hong-Kong. One sample cost about about 80 US$ (inc. headphones and power supply - you must specify your power mains voltage!) without delivery. I think that is cheapest way to obtain one piece including all other payments (like tax etc.). Note that are manufacturers and you MUST communicate with it as product manager of really big import company. Please, dont mention me... I want to order one sample too (and I am NOT company, I want get sample personally). The Vorbis support works under linux, and Dmitry was talking about adding Vorbis to the windows .exe, but I dont know if he ever got this to work. I think the Ogg format of LAME is still under heavy construction... Go to http://www.xiph.org and search the message archieve of Ogg Vorbis for links to binaries of the Vorbis Encoders. - Zia Roel VdB wrote: > Hello all, > > I wanted to try some tests on the ogg format, but all I get (different > wavs) is: > > D:\test>lame --ogg ns.wav ns.ogg > LAME version 3.84 (alpha 1) (www.sulaco.org/mp3) > Win32 binaries from www.chat.ru/~dkutsanov/ > Encoding ns.wav to ns.ogg > Encoding as 44.1 kHz VBR Ogg Vorbis > mp3 buffer is not big enough... > > with "lame384a1_2g.zip". [MP3 ENCODER] Encoding as 44.1 kHz VBR Ogg Vorbis : mp3 buffer is not big enough...
Hello all, I wanted to try some tests on the ogg format, but all I get (different wavs) is: D:\test>lame --ogg ns.wav ns.ogg LAME version 3.84 (alpha 1) (www.sulaco.org/mp3) Win32 binaries from www.chat.ru/~dkutsanov/ Encoding ns.wav to ns.ogg Encoding as 44.1 kHz VBR Ogg Vorbis mp3 buffer is not big enough... with "lame384a1_2g.zip". Am I doing something wrong? Is there a link to the oggvorbis site where I can download an encoder? thanks! -- Best regards, Roelmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- MP3 ENCODER mailing list ( http://geek.rcc.se/mp3encoder/ )
