Hi,

There is documentation - all be it, it may not be very robust.

Click on Help - Help
Goto Chapter 3, section Adding a Queue Manager Access Profile

The only between adding a distributed queue manager and a mainframe queue
manager is that select the appropriate radio button value (just under queue
manager name).

Information that you will need:
1) MQ object names are case sensitive e.g. MQA1 is not the same as mqa1
2) For Channel Name, you can use SYSTEM.DEF.SVRCONN
3) You will need to know the IP # of the LPAR that has your queue manager.
4) You need to know the port that the listener is listening for the mainframe
queue manager that you are connecting to.

Note: To access a mainframe queue manager you MUST have CAF installed on the
mainframe.

 Hi
I tried your MQ Visual edit. There is no example or documentation how
to open a queue on a remote queue manager on OS/390 .

 Thanks
