Re: Not able to connect to Queue manager
Gaurav... you need to provide some more information before anybody tries to solve the problem. 1) Are the queue managers running on the same Port? Check whether you have configured the same port for listeners on both the QM's. 2) How are you accessing the QM's? What is your application written on (java/VB+MQAX/C,C++ etc) this is for understanding which client code your communicating with... These will be required to get a clear picture and analyse the problem in right direction..: Cheers, Anand - Original Message - From: Gaurav Bhushan [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, July 08, 2002 2:04 PM Subject: Not able to connect to Queue manager Hi, I have two manager name on the server: Both the queue manager is running properly and is accessable with command prompt utilities commands like amqsget, amqsbcg etc. But when my applicaion tries to connect them, it gives an error with reason 2059. Re: Not able to connect to Queue manager
Hi Gaurav, Give some more details of your problem to understand in a better way. 1) which client application(c,c++ and etc..)your using ? 2) On which platform your running application..? If you use client application ,the problem might be with your channels(client and server)definations. /Narasimha Reddy.V -Original Message- From: MQSeries List [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, July 08, 2002 1:35 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Not able to connect to Queue manager Importance: High Hi, I have two manager name on the server: Both the queue manager is running properly and is accessable with command prompt utilities commands like amqsget, amqsbcg etc. But when my applicaion tries to connect them, it gives an error with reason 2059. Re: Not able to connect to Queue manager
Gaurav 1.When you use amqsget I presume you do that from the server because amqsget is server compiled. Is your application compiled for the server or client? 2.Remember MQ names is case sensitive, so make 100% sure of the case, especially on UNIX the utilities sometimes convert names to uppercase when in fact it is lowercase. 3. Are you 100% sure that when you execute the connect in your application that the q mgr name is the right case. Re: Not able to connect to Queue manager
Guarav If you link for client: Can you use both amqsput and amqsputc to both queue managers? If amqsputc is not working then client environment is not set up correct.
