See the MAXCHANNELS parameter in the qm.ini file (Check out the System
Admin and Client manuals).

Hi MQers,

Can anyone tell where the limit or the maximum number of server-connections
a
Queue manager allows is specified? How can I change it to nomax?

Thanks in advance,

Re: Limit on Server Connection

2002-06-06 Thread Stefan Sievert

Ingi,
please take a look at
http://www.messageq.com/forums/vienna/msg_body.php3?ID=22541
or/and
http://www.messageq.com/forums/vienna/msg_body.php3?ID=30413

You have to add lines to the qm.ini file to overcome the default setting of
max. 100 channels:

Channels:
   MaxChannels=n

The Appendix of the MQSeries Intercommunication guide has the details:
http://www-3.ibm.com/software/ts/mqseries/library/manualsa/csqzae05/csqzae0578.htm

Hope this helps,
Stefan
