If so, do you have any tips? I'm aware of the issue with LinuxThreads and have set LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.19. But, it still isn't working. I think that something is wrong with the install process (I'm running on Debian Linux and had to convert the *.rpm packages to *.deb via alien). If anybody could post their LinuX MQ directory structure, that would help me to see how things should be getting installed. Just an ls -lA /var/mqm and ls -lA /opt/mqm would be a great help. Thanks! Re: MQ install on Linux kernel 2.6 or greater
Hi, On Solaris 8, for WMQ v5.3 CSD7, ccsid.tbl lives at /var/mqm/conv/table/ccsid.tbl and here is what is returned form 'ls -la': -rw-rw-r-- 1 mqm mqm26856 May 23 2003 ccsid.tbl Hope that helps. In my lab, I have WMQ v5.3 installed on RH 8 but I am out of the office right now. I can check tonight if you want. Regards, Roger Lacroix Capitalware Inc. http://www.capitalware.biz Quoting Mark D. Hansen [EMAIL PROTECTED]: That is one thing that I'm confused about. The only CCSID.TBL that I see in my installation is /opt/mqm/samp/ccsid.tbl. I set the own/group to mqm/mqm. I think that the installer (designed for RedHat) hasn't put this in the right place on my Debian box. Where is your ccsid.tbl found? Re: MQ install on Linux kernel 2.6 or greater
Websphere MQ CSD07 works with Fedora core 2, up to kernel-2.6.7-1.494.2.2 and with LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.19. kernel-2.6.8-1.521 doesn't works, I don't know why.
