 Problem is present with this git master

For testing purpose I removed a workaround for a Gnome bug with 
configurenotify.
Please check git master 1c38fd27ace9e01b5642e62506389e77cf9d2349.
Can somebody with a working Gnome environment check if window moving and 
resizing by mouse still work with 1c38fd27ace9e01b5642e62506389e77cf9d2349?
None of my gnome installations is in a usable state. Either it crashes at 
start or there are terrible screen artefacts...

Windows moving and resizing is ok. Mate Desktop. (Gnome 2.X fork)

I send test binary to user, who  reported  me about this bug, now i wait

What about the old position value in onresize? It is possible that the user 
problem is another issue.
