I have try some of the demos for the RPi3, like HDMI interface (video + sound), internet access, usb connect, keyboard+mouse interface ---> impressive, all works out-of-the-box. Also super-easy to install the os: for a Rpi3, just copy on the sd the firmware provided by Ultibo and your compiled (by fpc) myprog.elf + kernel7.img. The boot is so fast that the time you plug the usb-power in the Rpi and turn the head to see the screen, it is already loaded! They give a Lazarus-Ultibo and fpc-Ultibo version in their Ultibo installer. The installer is for Windows but it works like charm with wine. Hello everybody. I am exploring the Ultibo project. https://ultibo.org Huh, it is ***really*** wow++ for ARM machines. Maybe it would be better to create that topic on fpGUI webnews but the site is unreachable. Ultibo has a beginning of fpGUI interface and is **very** promising. https://ultibo.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12=60=60#p8184 But it concern MSEgui too (because Ultibo team want to reach other interfaces). What do you think about this?
