Besides, it would be bigami and that's illegal! ;) (Even in Holland ^_^)

(For the people who do not know, the law David is referring to allows gay
people to get married just like men and women).

Yes, it's true. They have Mitsumi drives that are much like modern PC drives,
although about half a centimeter higher.

The drives often develop a problem when ejecting, where the disk is partially
thrown out but the internals of the drive go back down again, so the disk is
stuck in the drive. But at least their lifespan is longer than that of drives
with rubber belts. Mine is still somewhat functioning after 15 years, with 10
years of that in very regular use (I didn't have a harddisk).

Bye,
Maarten

doesn´t have a rubber belt.
Is that true?

I don't have them. Someone else? I'm especially interested in the Font disk.

By the way, I decreased the size of the vector MSX logo a bit, so it fits on a
portrait A4, without scaling.
Another thing: I don't guarantee the quality of the resulting picture when it
is magnified over landscape A4! (I had to use some dirty tricks to fill the
white part of the logo... Glitches may turn up at higher mag than A4 landscape
at which it was tested.)

By the way, you can make a postscript (PS) file of it by adding
showpage
at the utter end of the file.

It's on its way. The scans are made, now some cutting and pasting.
Later this week online.

By the way, in the docs there is mention of disks belonging to this computer
(system, fonts).

Available somewhere?

MSX Logo in vector format (EPS)

2001-04-02 Thread Manuel Bilderbeek

Hi MSX people

Since I could use it myself too, I made a vector GFX MSX logo this
morning. I saved it in EPS format. Feel free to check it out and give
comments:
http://bilderbeek.cjb.net/msx/MSXlogo.eps

Feel free to use it wherever you want (in case you like it). You can be
really nice and mention that I made this version in case you use it... ;-)

I made it with xfig, drawing lines over the bitmap MSX logo taken from the
MSX2 start up screen, captured with xv from fMSX 2.x/X 2.x.
