Well, Adriano has a T-R GT, and I've a T-R ST, but neither of 
us had problems regarding to MSX T-R hardware.

I suppose that Uzix has problems with the 1 mByte. Most probably caused by 
the mapper of the GT which shows only the status of the lowest 512 kB...

Yep, this is exactly what happens.And guess what? I also have a turboR
(GT) with 1mBytes internal memory

Sorry, but I'll not be able to fix this problem until next monday.
But I'll do my best as soon as possible.
Anne, I have a TR GT and UZIX boots without problem on it. Do your
TR has any cartridge connected or something "different"? My TR is
completely "nude", and it really boots UZIX ok.

problem. I have NEVER been able to boot UZIX on my turboR, so you're not the
only one...

Is you Turbo R an 'original' Turbo R or did you change something in it
?
Like expanded Mapper for example ? Do you have SCSI or IDE ?

place, and I don't live there anymore)

Well, can you tell us more about your tests? Which modem did you use? what speed
did you
 get? What apps you used (mail,chat)? and what was your impressions about uzix
tcpip?

Actually, I made the test in Belgium, where I live since almost 3 years now.

But the Netherlands and Belgium have the same kind of telecom infrastructure 
and also for a large part exactly the same ISP's (for example uunet and 
worldonline are active in both countries) so that does not make a big 
difference for the test.
