Thanks all for your reactions on my advertisement with ZIP-drive.
The lucky person who will get the ZIP I will contact him/her directly.
For the unlucky: I have a second external Zip drive that I use normally on
my Turbo R, but because I can't exchange between my 8250 with MK SCSI and
the Novaxis/Gouda SCSI on my Turbo R, I hardly use it anymore. So, if
somobody wants it realy, he/she can make me an offer for it.
I have an internal SCSI-ZIP, aprox. 2 years old but in good working order,
complete with 16bit PC interface board and software. (Same I use in my 8250
with MK SCSI controller)

Still some fax-machines sitting here! What's wrong, I thought computers
were no good when using to receive faxes! At leased it didn't work for me!
When I didn't have my ISDN with second number I used one of those faxes as
front end to my Telephone exchange at home, so if somebody send a fax, I
would take it by phone, hear that it was a fax and then just wait, so the
fax would take it over and at the same time it served me as an answering
machine. When I got the second telephone line for the fax, I didn't need
the luxurity of the speaker phone and answering machine on that line, so I
kept this faxmachine as a normal phone on my first, normal, line and used
the secand fax as a fax/telephone on the fax line. But now I took over a
plain paper fax from an old vriend and I bought an ISDN telephone so both
faxmachines are not necessary anymore. They are in 100% condition.
So PLEASE, does anybody want to take over 1 or both faxmachines of me???

Now about SCSI: One of the persons who ask me for the ZIP drive, ask me if
it was possible to get 50 pins boxed male headers for flat cable mount.
Because I have connections to get them here some options:
Seperate boxed flat cable connectors, male: fl. 17,50
and now the crazy thing:
SCSI Extention flat cable: 2 female + 1 male conectors on a 75 cm long
flatcable: fl. 15,-, so you are crazy to buy the 1st one.
The female flat cable connectors are: fl. 5,- each
For people who want to make a centronics connection:
Centronics male and female connectors for flat cable: fl. 12,- each.
But same as with the first boxed header:
SCSI adapter bracket, a 50 pins centronics connector mounted on standard PC
bracket with 70 cm cable with 2 female connectors: fl. 14,50
Flatcable, 50 wires, per meter: fl. 4,50
I have to buy larger quantities to get these prices, so have to collect
orders before I can order the goods.
