Apparently not, since no program I tried recognises it as a mouse. And then again: it has 3! buttons! Grtjs, Manuel ((m)ICQ UIN 41947405) PS: MSX 4 EVER! (Questions? Re: Software that works with Sony GB-7 Trackball
Nope, We definately have a GB-7s.. The original box etc tells me that much :) and the buttons arent huge like i remember.. but then again, i was 9 at the time i last saw the thing ;-) (did some digging on the 'old stuff' department) The cartridge that came with it is "Creative Graphics", and has an HITBIT textlogo on it (we also had a sony hb75, what a coincedence. Well, this "Creative Graphics" cartridge uses the trackball. i guess that answeres the original question :) But to add some stuff: Back of the cartridge: CAUTION: yada yada yada etc blah standard stuff (c) 1984, HAL LABORATORY Sony Corporation Tokyo Japan Made in Japan/Fabrique au Japan When you boot with the cartridge, it says: Eddy2 system vertion 1.0 Copyright HAL Laboratories The "vertion" is not a typo, well maybe in the cartridge ;-) Everything is labeled heavily with HITBIT/Sony things though, seems that the only thing HAL'ish is the software in the cartridge So i guess Sony and HAL were happy buddies when it came to trackballs :) Floris Iwein van Caelenberg wrote: > > - Oorspronkelijk bericht - > Van: "Floris 'Tamama' van Gog" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Aan: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Verzonden: donderdag 4 mei 2000 21:23 > Onderwerp: Re: Software that works with Sony GB-7 Trackball > > > we have a trackball here too, those buttons are HUGE! :-) > > That's not a Sony butt a Hall (4x the size of the Sony) > > > there was some drawing program that came with it.. could it be "eddie"? > > i'll look it up... > > Eddy 2 was the software from HAL for use with their own track-ball (CAT). > > _ > Add your MSX-site to msx2.com use the online submit-form. > MSX-Stuff for Sale/Trade , use the MSX-Market on msx2.com. > MSX-Search : search the contents of all the MSX-Sites Submitted to msx2.com. > > Greetings Iwein/Kiwi , MSX-Freak > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > sites on msx2.com : > www.msx2.com > www.kiwi.msx2.com > www.izemjef.msx2.com > www.deltasoft.msx2.com MSX Mailinglist.
