[mb-style] RFC: Indicata that a release has no barcode
The idea would be differentiating releases with no barcode from releases where the existence of a barcode is just not known. For that we would store the barcode as a string of zeros (as webservice users probably expect only numbers there and we don't want to break their stuff), although we would display it in MB itself as Barcode: none. To make it easier, if this passes I'll add a ticket asking for a checkbox in the release editor that we can just mark (and that will add the zeros to the barcode field and disable it until unchecked). Kuno / warp already said he could implement it. -- Nicolás Tamargo de Eguren ___ MusicBrainz-style mailing list MusicBrainz-style@lists.musicbrainz.org http://lists.musicbrainz.org/mailman/listinfo/musicbrainz-style
