A word about it in mpd docs would be nice... or I guess I'll bug ncmpcpp

 Hi,
why an option to manually rebuild music database is gone from
mpd's command line? It was really convenient to use after
switching music dirs in config, now I had to manually remove
database file after setting the music dir wrong and wondering
how to do a rescan after setting it right...

 Kind regards,
 ufoman

ncmpcpp, just like all other serious clients, already has an update
feature. It's documented on the help screen.

Hi,
looks like browsing the help screen at 3.30AM ain't a good choice if you
want to find a little option in the pretty extensive list... thanks anyway
:D
