color in the new Mutt 1.2.0
Hi I just installed the new Mutt [Mutt 1.2i (2000-05-09)] and when I fired up the program, it gave me the following errors: Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 706: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 709: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 710: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 713: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 716: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 719: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 720: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 723: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 727: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 730: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 733: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 736: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 740: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 743: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 746: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 749: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 752: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 755: color: unknown command Error in /home/salvo/.muttrc, line 758: color: unknown command These are the offending lines : color attachment brightmagenta black color body magenta black "(ftp|http)://[^ ]+" # point out URLs color body magenta black [-a-z_0-9.]+@[-a-z_0-9.]+ # e-mail addresses color bold brightcyan black color error brightred black color header brightwhite black . color header brightwhite black ^(From|Subject): color hdrdefault white black color indicator black green color markers brightcyan black color message cyan black color normal white black color quoted yellow black color search black green# how to hilite search patterns in the pager color signature red black color status brightyellow blue color tilde white black color tree white black color underline brightgreen black Any help would be appreciated as I'm now using a MONO system, which doesn't look appealing to the eye at all. Justim May helped out here, the problem was because I was using ncurses and not slang (as apaerntly there is a problem wiht ncurses on FreeBSD 3.4) and when I used slang it compiled and works perfectly now. gpg hassles with mutt
I'm appealing to the Mutt users who also use GPG for their privacy needs. I have installed GPG and I replaced the relevant sections of the .muttrc file and this is the error I get. If I run gpg filename on the saved email message, it works. Any ideas ? Please help. upgraded from 0.93 to 0.95.4i
Good day all, I upgraded from 0.93 and I used to type mutt -y and get a list of folders that I could easily monitor. When I went into the a folder, and I pressed "i" to get to the index again - it used to show the same index that I had with mutt -y. After the upgrade that no longer works - am I doing something wrong - so I need to change a setting ? Thanks! Salvatore -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] | http://salvo.reaper.org | ICQ #8084066
