This behaviour is a bit strange on my OpenBSD 2.8 system: $ ./mutt -f =mutt 123 kept, 3 deleted.
Between those two lines I read some mail and deleted 3. At the end mutt asked me whether to (really) delete them. I typed 'y' and then I had to hit return, which is different from the old behaviour (I was running 1.0i before). Thereafter the line 123 kept, 3 deleted. was printed.
