[MLO] Can use MLO cloud to manage my tasks

2010-08-25 Thread JohnP
As the desktop now sync's with the cloud, can I sign into
sync.mylifeorganized.net and manage my tasks like offered by MTM and
ToodleDo?

I have a desktop PC and a MAC laptop and need to manage my tasks
whilst using my Mac.

Thanks,

John

Yep, where is our perfect styled webinterface? And it must be ready before

Ok, back to seriousness. Any plans for a webinterface.

[MLO] Re: Problems when moving tasks from one folder to another

2010-08-25 Thread pottster
Very interesting Neal!

I hadn't noticed this before but you're right. However, I wonder if
it's not intended behaviour i.e. a way of stripping out the hierarchy
when moving tasks. If you want to keep the hierarchy then just select
the parent task when moving. I say this because the behaviour is
consistent across all of the task movement methods - cut/paste, control
+m, drag and drop.

In checking this out though I've got one for you which might be a bug.
When moving task+subtasks with control+m and drag and drop you get an
undo option (as expected) but if you use cut and paste the undo option
is greyed out.

Couldn't replicate the problem in your last paragraph but I may have
misunderstood what you meant. Could you clarify?

On Aug 24, 11:03 pm, Neal nschm...@gmail.com wrote:

As an example If a recurring task in the range is displaying its
children subtasks, those tasks will end up in the move as siblings to
the recurrence.  If these subtasks are not displayed at the time of
the move they will move correctly as children.

Furthermore if hide completed tasks button is double checked the
results are even worse.  A recurring task that displays it subtasks
will NOT move over any completed subtasks.  They just seem to
 disappear from the outline.

Re: [MLO] Re: A bug at midnight to 15 minutes after.

2010-08-25 Thread Neal
I think the problem involves start dates not necessarily due dates. Not
using times, at least not any that would show up at midnight. These are all
tasks involving start dates.

Again I have seen start dates of 2 days ago disappear and start dates that
should now show up, not show up, until 15 minutes after.

The problem appears in action filters of active, available and all. No idea
why...

Re: [MLO] Re: Problems when moving tasks from one folder to another

2010-08-25 Thread Neal
Yea, I described this as a gotcha because I'm not sure if it is intended or
not.

My problem was that I selected a range of projects and moved them together
from one folder to another. The projects that were fully collapsed moved as
I expected. However, a couple of projects and recurring tasks were expended
to show subtasks. These lost their parent child relationships. Not what I
was expecting.

As for the completed subtasks. I had a rotation tasks with 10 subtasks. 4
of them were completed. When this recurrence was moved it was expanded but
only showed the completed tasks remaining. When moved the 6 remaining
subtasks were now siblings and the 4 completed tasks were neither in the
original folder or the new folder. They were just gone.
