Re: [MLO] MLO-iPhone updated to version 1.4.0

2012-11-22 Thread David Porter
When I look at the map, it always starts in the Atlantic Ocean off
Southeastern Africa. There were even two pins there. I think that
empty lat and long values in the context list ends up pointing the map
there. I have removed the offending contexts, but it still begins the
mapping journey in the same place. Otherwise, very nice!

Now we are working on bringing real outline from MLO-iPad to

[MLO] Re: Place a desktop shortcut to MLO task (project)

The bookmarks will make the navigation quicker, but that's not so quick as
the desktop shortcut.

[MLO] Place a desktop shortcut to MLO task (project)

2012-11-22 Thread Andrei
Dear friends

I try to use MLO as much as possible, but opening MLO and browsing to the
desired project is also a time-consuming task.
Due to that the relation between me and MLO is not so friendly as i want it
to be.
Today for example i am concetrated on 3 projects. And i would like to open
one of them with just a click of the mouse. The goal is to *doubleclick the
project link*, *see it, and then press the close button.* That can be done
in less than 4-5 seconds. I think that will be a really time-saving
feature.

If i could place a shortcut to the project (or folder with tasks) to my
desktop, that will be enough.

Any help on this?

Thanks to all for your help and support

Andrew

[MLO] Re: Does anyone else make heavy use of recurrence?

2012-11-22 Thread Pgr
Hello,

this is just a suggestion for a work-around.

Create a bunch of template tasks with the desired recurrences (on the
Desktop) and leave them under a branch in the outline marked as "Hide the
branch in to-do".

Then when you need a recurrent task just copy one of these templates into a
visible part of your outline and edit it to fit your needs, leaving the
recursion as it is.

As I said this is a workaround, and it adds a bit of work. So, if anyone
wants to answer the original question, or help "implore" the new
functionality from the devs, don't let my answer stop you!

Regards
Pgr
