[MLO] Click.to support

2013-10-10 Thread Brent Treadway
Anybody know the syntax needed to use the clipboard accelerator tools like
click.to to get clipboard data setup as a new task?

Re: [MLO] MLO 4.0 Context hotkey scope crippled - affects productivity

2013-10-10 Thread Daniel Faulkenberry
I can't use any shortcuts on mine. For example: Alt+Enter to automatically
recognize information in the caption doesn't work. Nor does Ctrl-Z to undo.
It makes the separate windows rather useless.

BEFORE it was ... clicking on INS for adding a new task, writing the
caption, and then hotkey for a context, and "done".

NOW it's clicking INS, writing the caption, then click ENTER, and only
then a context can be assigned by a hotkey. Doesn't seem to be a big
 issue,
but it's not as intuitive anmore and it's certainly slowing down working
 with MLO.

RE: [MLO] Re: How to display only my tasks on my ipod

2013-10-10 Thread Dwight
I don't know how much of this translated to ipod, but on Android you can
bring up a view called "active by context" that shows all of your active
tasks grouped by context. Once you are in that view you can hit the MENU
button and select "filter by context" and then you can pick which context
you want displayed and which you want hidden.

I'm not sure what Mark meant by active contexts but it might have been about
closed contexts. On Windows you can bring up the Manage Contexts window (F8)
then select a context and click on the Hours tab. You can set what hours
each context is open or closed. The choices include "Always Open" and
"Always closed". Once set on Windows the schedule will sync to mobile.
Usually MLO will not display a task if all of its contexts are closed,
although there are overrides.

Re: [MLO] Re: How to display only my tasks on my ipod

2013-10-10 Thread Mark
I meant exactly how Dwight said it... Just was not with device to remind me
of the correct termBUT I suspect its not 100% of what you need because
my understanding is the task needs to be Active - i.e. ready to be started,
and there might be tasks in your list that have a start date in future for
example that would not show up. If however, your only concerned with tasks
that can be acted upon right now - then it should work well enough for you.

How do you move a task from the inbox on the iPhone with MLO2? The implication

2013-10-10 Thread Nick Clark
The four-way arrow at the top right activates move mode. Then use the bars on
the right of the item to drag it to it's preferred location. Turn off move mod
by pressing the four-way arrows again.

I'd like to see a long-press cut and paste implemented like all the other
versions to go alongside this move method.
