[MLO] formatting hyperlinks
Is there a way to change color of hyperlinks within a note? I changed my notes' background and want to keep that but the hyperlinks are barely visible. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MyLifeOrganized group. Re: [MLO] Multiple profile without desktop
Hello Andrea, MLO Desktop is required to manage your Cloud files but you can use it in a trial mode for these purposes with no issues. Re: [MLO] Possible to Open a task in its own little window?
Hi Dwight! This is what happened (message below) when I tried?! Any idea what you did different! (My file is local / not in the cloud, if this matters?!) -- Warning File is readonly or locked by another user: Cannot open f ile C:\Users\Benny\Documents\M...\MLO-AC ER-201 4-02.ml. I don’t know if this is what you are looking for but the right hand panel gives details about the currently selected task. If you make the MLO window small you can make this pane take up half of the window or even more. And you can open multiple windows, all working off of the same task list but each one showing a different task. Start by going to ToolsOptionsGeneralApplicationOptionsBehaviour and look for a checkbox called “Allow multiple instances.” Make sure it’s checked. Now go to the Windows Start Menu and open MLO repeatedly. If you want to have six single-task windows, open MLO six times. For each copy of MLO, make sure a task you want to work on is selected and is visible in the right pane. if the left pane (list of views) is open hit alt-f1 to close it. Resize the window to the size you want, then hover the mouse over the boundary between the main pane and the rightmost pane until it turns into a “resize” icon, something like -||-. Click and drag to stretch the right panel as wide as possible. Note that MLO will reserve some room (not much) for the main panel so you can’t drag it all the way over. -Dwight *From:* mylifeo...@googlegroups.com javascript: [mailto: mylifeo...@googlegroups.com javascript:] *On Behalf Of *Lisa Stroyan *Sent:* Friday, May 17, 2013 11:27 AM *To:* Group, MyLifeOrganized *Subject:* Re: [MLO] Possible to Open a task in its own little window? What do you do when you concentrate on one task? Do you want to be able to modify the task or just see it? I take it your tasks are fairly large granularity? There are two features you might explore. One is zoom. Unfortunately for your purposes, zooming in on a task doesn't show the task itself, only its subtasks. I think MLO is assuming your tasks are a smaller granularity. However, you could consider zooming in on the parent. If you define a workspace that shows what you want to see, you can open that in a new window (F3), but you won't be able to access the properties pane. Mainly the new Windows are for dragging tasks around, or for seeing a list of tasks. But, you can view columns and change properties from the columns. However, I suspect it's too much work to define a view just to see one task. I mainly work out of a workspace showing all of my active starred tasks. That might be an option for you, especially if you only star one task at a time :-) On Fri, May 17, 2013 at 5:57 AM, Benny Karlson benny_...@telia.com javascript: wrote: Just wonder if there really isn´t a way to open single tasks in its own window? It would be very helpfull if I want to open up the tasks I like to work with, and keep them in small windows on the side of the screen. This means I can pick the once I work with at the moment, and like to concentrate on at a given time. And this regardless, of any view and sorting I have (and don´t like to change) in MLO.
