Yes, the best way must be to duplicate the views. To duplicate on iOS tap
Multiselect and choose the view.

[MLO] Re: Is it possible to nest folders (subfolders) and nest Projects (subprojects)

2017-11-07 Thread Alyona (MLO Support)
In the "Projects" view all tasks marked as projects are listed recursively,
therefore embedded projects will show up:

a) For the first time as a part of the parent project;

b) For the second time as an independent project.

To avoid confusion, in MLO-Windows bring up the "Filter" pane and click on
"Config" in the "General" section. Remove a checkmark next to "Continue
searching in branch after main filter match". In MLO-mobile open "Custom
View Settings" for the "Projects" view and disable "Continue searching in
branch". The smaller projects will be only shown once as parts of the main
project.

Also, you may focus on the parent project (use "Zoom in") to work on the
smaller projects.

Do not delete sub-projects in the "Projects" view since they are not
duplicates. If you are not sure, feel free to check the whole structure in
the Outline (the "All tasks" view).

By the way, this answer is available on our FAQ.

Long press the view name, and from the menu choose to duplicate.

Re: [MLO] Re: Filter on Max Time

2017-11-07 Thread Dwight
Hi, I thought someone else had already answered this but now I can't
find the answer so I will answer, sorry if I'm duplicating.

You can filter on max time. Start by creating a view that shows all of
the tasks that would be eligible if you ignored the time, for example,
it could be a view that shows everything with the context @phone. Then
in the left hand sidebar find the section "Advanced" and tick the box
called "Add advanced". Click the setup box. Now create a rule that
reflects your filter, for example,

((TimeRequiredMax <= 5 min) AND (TimeRequiredMax >= 15 min))

If you need step by step instructions for creating a rule like this, and
you cant find any relevant tutorials, write back and say so.

Sorry to say that you cannot group by max required time, but you can
create and save a series of views, like the 5.

[MLO] Re: Is it possible to nest folders (subfolders) and nest Projects (subprojects)

2017-11-07 Thread Jordan Schroeder
Is there anywhere that describes the behavior of folders at the root level?
When I create a folder at the top level, then create a project within in, a
duplicate project is generated at the same level. I can find no
documentation on this behavior or what the behavior is intended to achieve.
