[MLO] Recurrence: How to I create future occurrences of a task now?

2019-04-24 Thread John Hughes
I have a task that I do every day. I want to clone it to appear as a task
due on each of the next 90 days, and I would like MLO to create all 90 of
those tasks now. So I create the task that is due today, declare it to
recur daily, advanced feature to create a copy when complete. Then I click
on the box 90 times to complete this task over and over, and it creates a
task for each of the 90 days. The only problem is that the tasks status is
"complete". If I select all 90 tasks and use Tasks/Advanced/Uncomplete all
tasks, MLO will not uncomplete them (I don't see why not). So I go to each
one a click on the complete box to uncomplete it.

Is there a better way to create a cloned tasks?

[MLO] Re: Calendar task sync

2019-04-24 Thread Alyona (MLO Support)
It is not possible at this time. But if you are using Google Calendar and
MLO-Windows, you can sync your calendar
 events
into MLO-desktop and then into MLO-mobile using MLO Cloud or Wi-Fi sync.

[MLO] MLO5 : Feature Enhancement

2019-04-24 Thread mv1707
Hi MLO,

A) Are feature requests on this forum seen by MLO dev? I taught I had seen
a dedicated place for these with voting system but can't seem to find it?

B) One of the many features I lie about MLO Windows is the possibility to
have one more date. The Review date (aka Follow-up date). Having a fixed
Day, Week, Month is sometime helpful but could be brought a very simple
enhancement. The ability to right click on it to change the Review date.
Same as the Start and Due, instead of accessing the Properties pane

Typical scenario :

   - Every year you have Project or task(s) that needs to be started on
January 1st. The deadline is April 30th.
   - You start working on it on January 1st until you now depend on someone
or something else. (Waiting for or Delegated)
   - Many time you speak to the person an agree that she'll get back to you
   by February 1st.
   - You don't want to change neither the Start Date or Due date as it
would impact next year. Still you want it out of your way but re-visit it
   on Feb 1st.
   - This is where the Review date comes handy. But the recurrence is only
   your best guess.
   - Come Feb. 1st, you try to contact that person with no luck. It is
Friday so if you had set (1) Week, it is too far and (1) Day brings it up
   over the week-end.

In short rarely follow-up will follow a fixed pattern. Having the same
Sub-menu for Review date as for Start and Due would be a nice enhancement.

[MLO] Re: My order to alphabetic ordering accidentally

2019-04-24 Thread Alyona (MLO Support)
I guess you accidentally clicked on the "View: All tasks" header in the
task list and that changed sorting to alphabetically ordered by a task
name. To go back to the ordering you created change sorting to "none" in
the settings: Bring up the Filter pane on the left-> Group&Sort->Sort->Sort
tasks by: None
Or, if you want to reset all the view settings, then click "Discard
changes" below.

[MLO] Re: Custom flag autoformat assignment rules | Feature needed

2019-04-24 Thread mv1707
Hi,

I'm sure MLO team will take your request in consideration but in the
meantime there might be a different way to achieve your goal. Maybe you
cannot automate the flags but you have control over the Icon and these
icons can also include flag icons. In : Option (Gear icon top right) /
Automatic formatting / Automatic formatting rules.

Good luck

Michel
