[MLO] Re: Android New Task From Notification. Not saved anywhere!?

2019-08-29 Thread natG
Furthermore, the natural logical way it should work (the way I see it), is
that the Add Task from notification area should always go to the *current*
profile.
Thanks

[MLO] Re: Android New Task From Notification. Not saved anywhere!?

2019-08-29 Thread natG
Good news. And partially my fault. I hadn't used this feature for a very
long time and in the SETTINGS for Notification/Tasks, it was set to an old
profile which I don't use. Once I reset to a current profile, it WORKS AS
EXPECTED.
Sorry for any 'pressure' I might have caused, and am therefore posting this
in middle of the night so that you get this info quickly, and not worry.

Suggestion: After a task is added via the notification, you display a quick
message 'task added'. If you can enhance that message with 'task added to
profile xyz', it would eliminate this problem. Also, depending on the
desktop wallpaper and icons, the message 'task added' is not always
visible, so it seems like that nothing happened.

Anyhow, the good news is, that it is working ok.

Re: [MLO] Re: How do I export my data from MLO Android?

2019-08-29 Thread Jeff Smith
I did it in Android version, forget what it's called, ...profile, and it
emailed me a zip file with xml and csv. you can open csv as a speadsheet to
see the tasks, though you'd have to learn what all the fields are to use
the information

Virus-free.

[MLO] Android New Task From Notification. Not saved anywhere!?

2019-08-29 Thread natG
I must be doing something wrong (I hope!).

Adding a task on Android (LG V40 Android 9) via the Notification pull-down,
does NOTHING.
After going thru all the motions, of saving the task, with or without a due
date, and tapping DONE/SAVE, the notification correctly disappears, BUT the
TASK is NOWHERE TO BE FOUND?? I checked different profiles, nada.

Hopefully I missed something real simple.
