[MLO] Re: Winter, Holidays and War in Ukraine
Hi Andrey, Just purchased all i could, including gold, ... - because :) - to support you during the difficult times as possible - MLO is the best software i know - by far - for the purpose of holistic task management - - and want to contribute, as appreciated with the next features having said this... i have some questions: - to be honest i do not get the point of the dashboards? The views are not linked, based on what i see. Which renders the thing confusing. Is there some help available about the proper usage? I would get some point if the views were automatically synchronized and/or additional "metrics-features" would be available to measure progress with the selected tasks. That would be actually really cool - if more evolved. - i was asking since "ages" for a feature related to groupings related to time Having the ability to group by either static groups in addition like : quarters, years, 5-year and 10-years groupings would add - for me at least - significant value for "life-planning" purposes. If the time groupings would be configurable - even better :). For the rest - keep up the great work. And if i can add more details to my comments above within my Gold-status ;) - glad at any time - especially until 27.1. 23 - as i have vacation by then. All the best -Alexander Andrey Tkachuk (MLO) schrieb am Freitag, 6. [MLO] Re: Dashboard vs Split Views
actually i like the idea behind the dashboard thing - the name is misleading however. If you combine relevant (different) views in one mega-view for handling the same thing from different viewpoints at the same time - makes a lot of sense. But the name Dashboard suggests some kind of metrics for measuring of progress - to me at least. So if the name was something like "perspective"s or something alike would be easier to get the idea by name :). ideas for improvements: - ability to automatically sync between the different areas - but configurable, not just synched. By this you could have two areas linked and some others just available for "thinking" now extending on the idea of a real dashboard.. - if there was an option available to have the same areas for task navigation - cool - but added other real-dashboardy areas where some aggregate-functions of attributes of the tasks would be computed into an aggregate red/yellow/green indicator to start with - - the you could view different progress areas by navigating the "normal" area while the "dashboardy" area in the overall Dashboard was "working" lastly my aging feature request ;) - better more differenciated groupings for time oriented views - best configurable. just some thoughts. Glad to add more details if appreciated. -Alexander br...@hostland.com schrieb am Sonntag, 8. Januar 2023 um 20:05:32 UTC+1: > I upgraded to v6, but the dashboard seems pointless. [MLO] [FEATURE REQUEST]: advanced grouping of date fields
I am using MLO as strategic planning tool. For this i would like to look at my main milestone in a nice way - be it forward or backward - in terms of future timeline or past completion successes. Currently the grouping is kind of raw. A more differenciated grouping would be cool - like in: - today - this week - after today - this month - for the rest of the month after the week - this quarter - for the rest of the quarter after the month - this year - .. - 5 years on - .. - 10 years on - .. - future best was, if this groups could be configured in the settings. This should be easy to implement as it is only a refinement of the grouping algorithm. Is my feature request considered? thx-Alexander -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group. [MLO] Outlook sync - with limiting the tasks
I am using the "Remove tasks not visible from MLO To-Do View." feature with a defined view. But.. not only the visible tasks are copied to Outlook. There are not all but more tasks copied than visible. And i do not have a clue why? Is this a known bug? thx-Alexander -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
