Re: [MLO] Bug: Android app messes up widgets during install

Re the naming of widgets based on Android 7 nougat on HTC 10
Long press on home screen opens the Apps and Widgets drawer
MLO widget is located in the Shortcuts folder named as 'MLO shortcut'
When tapped to add it to the home screen it prompts to type a name of your own
choosing (eg MLO voice, Starred view etc), an action from a short list of
options (eg add task by voice, MLO View), and the profile it should work with
I guess this is a one shot deal, if you name a widget poorly you probably have
to delete it and recreate it with a better name

Shopping /grocery lists - have you come across rShopping List - possibly the
closest thing to the old Handy Shopper of the Palm era

[MLO] Bug: Android app messes up widgets during install

2017-03-07 Thread Lasse Pedersen
The last few times I updated the Android app, it messed up all my 1x1
widgets for MLO.

Both the "view" widgets and the "new task" widgets. They are all converted
to the "check mark icon" that is used to start the main app, and likewise
the names are changed to MLO 2.

They still do the intended thing but I can't tell them apart (and can't
rename them again). So I have to start all over setting them up.

This is highly inconvenient as I have 8-10 of them (and intend to set up
even more) that I use for different profiles (2 or 3) and different
workspaces.

Besides task management I use MLO for shopping list, recurring tasks /
routines / chores, relation/people management and so on. Each in quite
different profiles/workspaces/settings. Widgets are by far the fastest way
to switch around.

I sincerely hope this will be fixed with the next update or very soon,
thank you. (As I reckon it is a small bug).

P.S. I use a Samsung with Android 4.2.2.
