[MLO] Advanced filter for highlighted task

2023-05-20 Thread A. W.
Is there a condition available to select just the highlighted tasks?
I did not find any so far?
-
The feature seems to be kind of neglected in the whole software - like i
did not find it in the menus too :).
-
Application:
1- highlighting the tasks in focus
2- build a view that just build from the highlighted tasks
==> allows for a totally custom selection of tasks to focus on next

makes sense?
If so, i'd recommend to integrate at least the advanced filtering of
highlighted tasks.

thx-a

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a try. The isproject worked
previously, but this might be a fine solution as well,

RE: [MLO] advanced filter

2021-06-15 Thread Dwight Arthur
Thanks, Michael. You are correct, the 'isProject' filter only filters items
that ARE projects, and has no effect on items that are IN a project.

Try filtering on projectName Is Not Empty. That will filter every project
in your database together with the entire branch underneath every one of
those projects.

[MLO] Advanced Filter problem has me defeated - What is going on?

2009-10-01 Thread Philb

I like to run my tasks that are date specific using the due dates
option. Most of my tasks have the same Start Date and Due Date,
though not all. I am trying to create a filter that will show me all
the tasks due in the next 7 days, based on the Due Date value.

If I create an advanced filter with two rules:

1. DueDateTime on or after today AND
2. DueDateTime on or before Today+7

I only see one task in the list which has a start and due date of
today. There are several other tasks in my outline with the same date
values, or with a due date in the next 7 days, and they do not show
up.

I have also tried using the value DueDateTime in the next ? days, and
using 7 as the value, and that does not work either. (I still see the
same one task I referred to above).

However, if I use the Start Date options in the FIlter list, (not
using Advanced filter here), I can set From: value as Today, and To:
value as Today+7, and then the tasks will show up correctly. So
apparently no problem looking at the Start Date value.

Then I noticed, if I delete the start date from one of the tasks not
showing up, it will now appear in my filter.

So Start Date field plays a part if it has a value. (Apparently).

So then I created an Advanced Filter with:

1. StartDateTime on or before today AND
2. DueDateTime on or before Today+7

That did not work either. Aarghhh!!!

Andrey, can you set me straight?

Cheers,

Phil.

[MLO] advanced filter problem

2009-02-17 Thread Talbot

I like the advanced filter feature, but it seems to be forgetting them
each time I close the application. No matter what new filters I set
up, it always reverts to the very first filter I made (urgency 46),
and deletes/forgets any other filters I've made, whenever I open the
application after closing it.

Is this a bug? Is it supposed to work like this? Am I just missing
some setting?

Thanks,
-Talbot
