If you are running MySQL on a Solaris 7 machine, would you mind sharing your startup script with the list? phpMyAdmin and mysql 3.23.49
I upgraded my redhat to 7.3, which comes with mysql 3.23.49. Since then, I am no longer able to upload data files into mysql databases. This is what I got: The used command is not allowed with this MySQL version I think the "used command" here is referring to "load data local infile". Has anyone else had this problem? Any workaround? Thanks. Sorting w/ leading articles ignored
Can this be done? What I want is to generate a list of journal sorted by the titles, ignoring the leading articles (the, a, an, etc.). If there is no SQL statement for this, How could I do this w/ DBI or PHP? I am using mysql 3.23.40 on Solaris 7. Thanks for any advise.
