hi everybody, i am new to mysql, got it up and running nicely under macos X 10.1, BUT i can't stop the daemon! "myqsqladmin shutdown" used with correct arguments does not show any effect. a normal "kill" won't do either. "kill -9" is the only option to get rid of the daemon. anything i can do to solve this??
