Build problem #3

HI
Still having problems building mysql v3.23.33 on Tru64 V4 using gecko 2.8.1
and gnu make vs..

Error I an getting is

can't find listed++. This library exists in /user/local/lib and I set my
LD_LIBRARY_PATH to /usr/local/lib.

Anyone seen this ?

Compiler error #2

Hi
Attempting build on Tru64 V4.x using gcc V2.95.2 and gnumake v 3.x

Build mysql is quite troublesome.

The latest error appears to be gnu gcc V2.95.2 error. I am attempting build
number
7,345

The error I get is.

sql_acl.cc in function 'int replace_column_table (GRANT_TABLE *, TABLE *,
  const LEX_USER &,
List &,
const char *, const char *,
unsigned int, bool ):
sql_acc.cc : 1459 : Internale compiler error in scan_region at except :
2566

Please submit a full bug report.

Compiler errors

Tru64 Compile errors.

Running V4.x Tru64 gcc 2.95.2 gnumake 3.x attempting build of

mysql 3.23.32 or 3.23.33

Getting error

sql_string.cc: In Method 'bool string::(double,unsigned int=2)' :
sql_string.cc:181 Implicit declaration of function 'int snprintf(...)'

Some user from this suggested changing snprintf to sprintf. When I look at
source
code in ../client/sql_string.cc is see a conditional compilation statement

ifdef HAVE_SNPRINTF

Can any one ( hopefully a mysql developer ) help me with this ? Or do I
indeed
change all references to snprintf.

I'll bet this problem just manifests itself on Tru64 !!

Compile error

Hello
Running gcc 2.95.2 and gnumake 3.39. Attempting to build mysql v3.23.32 or
v3.23.33.

Getting error, during make

sql_string.cc: In Method 'bool String::(double,unsigned int=2)':

Running on an Alpha Tru64 V4.x

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Error running makefile

Attempting to make nysql-3.23.32 on a DEC alpha Tru64 box. Keep
getting error
 /install-dir/lib/mysql  ( no such file or directory ). Anybody seen
this before ?
