Re: MySQL Manager Issue

2007-10-05 Thread Michael Raven

Right click in query editor window, select Properties from popup menu,
Select Quick Code in Editor options tree.
On the right side of the dialog window in Automatic features group
deselect Code completion and/or Code Parameters checkboxes.

p.s.
It seems that ticket system is working now...

Best wishes,
Michael

When I'm typing in a query, it is constantly annoying me by popping up
function, table, or field suggestions as I type. I have to constantly
 press
the escape key to get rid of the box. Is there some way to turn this
feature off that anyone's aware of?

 Thanks,
 Jesse

 Hello

I am looking for the tools that I would use to be able to do
administrative duties and to be able to create and update databases
(tables, indexes and so forth). I would rather do this than do it via a
command line. I would appreciate any links available.

What are all the mysql services i need to monitor to make sure mysql db is
running and send a pager when any one of these services go down.

mysql daemon on Linux and UNIX systems, MySQL service on Windows
in any case all of them supports executing command on daemon (system
service) failure.
that command may execute script or program that will communicate with your
pager service provider
