mysql_use_result
Greetings... When I am using mysql_use_result API to retrieve results, I am always getting 0 value for the max_length member of MYSQL_FIELD structure which is returned by mysql_fetch_fields. But when I am using mysql_store_result, max_length has correct value. Is this normal ? Is there any way to know the max_length when using mysql_use_result. No Database Selected
Greetings When I try to execute a query in SQLYOG( last query I have executed 2 Hours before ), it is giving no database selected, evenif in databases combo box the database is already selected. I am not understanding ? Does MySQL lose the current DB status after a long time of idleness ? Remote access using sqlyog
We have set up mysql on a linux webserver running apache at our college for students. We can create users at the site and log in to databases from a number of user ID's however when I try this from a dial up using sqlyog I always get the error message "connection lost with mysql during query". have tried creating users with '%' for address and IP ranges, but still have the problem. A new GUI for mySQL
