complex query qusetion
Hi, I'm looking at some search engine where we can have up to 14-15 categories and each categories have about 5-10 option (checkbox) my question is if we have a complex query like this would it be better to split some categories in tables i.e we have 21 different categories should we have 7 tables(indexed) with three columns, then do a big join statment?? or any other better way? awards

Hi, i have a quick question in phpadmin when i create an Index on an none empty table. i see that in Cardinality is either a number or has written None what does it mean?? Thank you Anthony

efficient table
I tried to look everywhere @ mysql.com but i couldn't my question is how many records can a table handle so it stays fairly fast? What is the maximum records it can handle?? Thanx for any answers Anthony
