Re: SQLyog Enterprise
Scott Hamm ha scritto: I'm contemplating buying SQLyog Enterprise for $49 dollars (non-commerical) for personal use. Do anyone use it and how does it fare in your opinion? Yes I use it. It's a good sw, little bit better vs phpMyAdmin (IHMO) but only under win :-(. It's a better choice to sync different server (I use it to sync my powerbook, my Zaurus SL6000, my winpc my Linux Server). Re: How to move a database to a new directory
Andy Ford ha scritto: I have run out of disk space in the directory where I have a mySQL database. How do I go about moving it and reconfiguring mySQL to see the new location. Thanks Andy Symple... move to a different directory the data and edit the my file at: ... #Path to the database root datadir=C:/Programmi/MySQL/MySQL Server 4.1/Data/ change the datadir. That's under Win ... if you use Linux (I hope :-) ) the file, normally, is under /etc (my.cnf). Re: Running mysql on a headless Windows CE Device
I'd hate to use Microsoft's SQL server, but I feel like i've hit a dead end with mysql. If anyone can offer some advice on how to get mysql running on windows ce, or can point me to some programmers who would be willing to port the source code for me, please contact me. -LiquidIce [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi, that's isn't the solution but if you have a Ipoq HP... you can try to install a linux embedded distro (like familiar or OpenZaurus) and the mysql binaries for thats OS. I'm running mysql on Zaurus 6000L sync to Debian SuSe server and a winXp pro trought SQLYog. Also works fine.
