2002-01-17 Thread jock

Hi. I have been attached to this mailing list for some months now.
And i just love it when i open my post box to find 110 new emails! ;)

ANyway, i have installed a bullitin board (vbullitin) with a table for
SQL. I know the mailing list is a convenient way to keep track of
things, but a board is a handy way of getting help.

Copying DB to DB

2001-11-03 Thread jock

Hi. I have already written a php / mysql search engine, so i have a
vague idea of what i'm doing. But i do have a query no seems to
be able to answer.

Is it possable to copy a row from one table, to another table?
Both tables have the same field names, and settings. And i can
easily insert data manually. But i was wondering if i could simply
copy the data from DB to DB

TIA
