two servers on the same machine
Hi all, I have two servers on the same machine (Windows 2000). In the file my.ini i need to write new group for mysqld2. 1) Do i need to change the name of mysqld itself (to mysqld2)? 2) On Windows, is it enough that the port will be different between the servers, or there is something else need to be different? missing scripts
Hi all, I installed mysql 3.23.41 on windows 2000 and in the scripts directory that created after the unzip i don't have the scripts "mysqlaccess" and mysql_install_db". The manual mentioned that they should be there. So where are they? Hi again I looked in the site and in some place they write: "you should create an option file for each server. In your startup script that is executed at boot time you should specify for both servers safe_mysqld --defaults-file=path-to-option-file " What is the startup script? is it somthing that i need to ceate?
