All you had to do is follow instructions from README.

Simply click on Options button, fill up all entries and click on
'Save'. Then restart mysqlgui ...

Hi!

To make it run, you need to install libstdc++ from gcc 2.95.2 package
and mysqlgui will run

gcc and the libstdc++ are already loaded.  libstdc++
is in /usr/local/lib  should it be somewhere else?

It could be anywhere you like as long as that directory is in LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

What operating system and hardware are you running.
Which  file did you download?
What EXACTLY was the error message?

Installing Static MySQLGUI on Solaris 7

Hi,

Wondering if anyone might be able to help me with a
slight problem.  I downloaded the static version of
the mysqlgui and I can't seem to get it working.

I gunzip and try to execute and it complains that it
can't find a library of some sort.  I looked at the
readme file in the source distribution and it says
that I need to unpack it.  Do I need a GNU version of
unpack or should I be doing something?
