Yes, Pay attention to the large number of problems mentioned regarding MyODBC connections, on this list. Also note that I am not the only one who keeps saying to use PhpMyAdmin. MyODBC Prompt on connect
I've setup MyODBC (Win98) so I can access a MySQL db from Excel. It works fine, except that everytime I refresh the data, I get the MyODBC prompt, even when I select the option "Don't Prompt on Connect". MyODBC Prompt on connect -- Setup
Everytime I try and connect to MySQL Server I get Host then it's IP address is not allowed to connect to this Server.. Where can I get more info for a newbie to do this..
