MyODBC can't initialize character set problem ...
Hi I'm trying to compile to MySQL latin2 sorting and cp1250_latin2 character set conversion. I've compiled mysql-3.23.31 with these configure options: --without-debug \ --without-readline \ --enable-shared \ --with-extra-charsets=complex \ --without-bench \ --localstatedir=/var/lib/mysql \ --with-unix-socket-path=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock \ --with-mysqld-user="mysql" \ --with-extra-charsets=all \ --with-charset=latin2 I #define DEFINE_ALL_CHARACTER_SETS in convert.cc. I connect to the server with MyODBC 2.50.36 and I get error: -- [TCX] [MyODBC] Can't initialize character set 9 (path: c:\mysql\share\charsets) (#2019) -- and I can't connect - of course. There is no directory c:\mysql in default MyODBC Win95 installation ...
