My first recommendation is to switch to ADO. It is much faster.

Subject: VB6 ODBC Memory problems
Hello,
I have been developing an application in VB60 (SP5) which seems
to eat up my memory after running some time.
The programm is just doing a SELECT in a loop.
When the programm is stopped, the memory is freed.
Developement environment:
WinNT40 SP6a
VB60 SP5
DAO 3.6
MySql 2.23.54-nt
MySql-ODBC 3.51.04 (using no transactions)
Are there known problems ?
Thomas
