is there a whoami for mysql?
is there a show grants self or a whoami type command? i'm trying to setup security, but i'm not show who i'm login in as? root@% or [EMAIL PROTECTED]/255.255.255.0 i am logging in just fine, but i don't really want to delete root@% until i know i'm getting the right login. \s just shows me Current user: [EMAIL PROTECTED] but show grants for [EMAIL PROTECTED]; says there are no grants for this account. also, i could see this coming up for debugging as a big help. note: all ips and usernames have been changed to protect the incredably insecure, and maybe a bit paranoid. sql, query - Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, e-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] Trouble unsubscribing?
